Minister Kologeto visits Pacific pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai

In recognition of the Pacific’s collective desire as South Sea Islanders to make an impression on the margins of the Largest Show on Earth, Minister for Commerce Industry Labour & Immigration (MCILI) and Head of the Solomon Islands Delegation, Hon. Frederick Kologeto accompanied by the Deputy Secretary Technical in the Ministry of Commerce Industry Labour & Immigration Mr. Eric George Ongoa and Mr Bob Pollard, Managing Director of Kokonut Pacific Limited, took time out to visit the Marshall Islands, Samoa, Palau, Nauru, Tonga, Papua New Guinea and Fiji  Pavilions on Sunday 19th December,2021.

The visit also gave Minister Kologeto an opportunity to invite our fellow Pacific Peoples at their respective Pavilions to be part of the Solomon Islands National Day to be held on Tuesday 21st December.

Director of Government Communication Unit George Herming on behalf of the Minister and Commissioner General, Ambassador Moses Kouni Mose thanked all fellow Islanders who had welcomed Minister Kologeto and his delegation in our usual traditional manner.
